Umpqua Public Transportation District Announces Temporary Service Reductions Effective September 15, 2025

Douglas County, OR – Umpqua Public Transportation District (UPTD) announced today that it will be reducing services beginning September 15, 2025, following significant delays in both federal and state funding allocations.

We know these changes affect people’s lives, and we will continue to pursue every possible option to restore service as quickly as possible.

On August 27, 2025, the Board of Directors voted to implement the following service changes:

•Yellow-line – eliminated until further notice
•Red-line – will operate from 6:35 AM to 6:30 PM
•Green-line – will operate from 10:09 AM to 4:05 PM
•Grey-line – will operate from 7:08 AM to 6:28 PM
•Blue-line – will operate from 6:35 AM to 6:05 PM

Due to financial constraints, beginning 8/9/2025, Saturday services will be suspended until further notice.
