Updates
UPTD provides public transportation across approximately 5,037 square miles of Douglas County. Financial constraints have resulted in reductions to transit service, including the elimination of Saturday service, elimination of South County service, and reductions in weekday operating hours.
UPTD has prepared the following resources to help riders and community members understand the District's services, funding structure, recent service reductions, ridership trends, and the potential community impacts of additional reductions.
UPTD Transit & Funding Profile — A two-page overview of UPTD service, passenger needs, operating costs, funding sources, and recent service reductions.
Service Reduction & Community Impact Case Study — A detailed review of UPTD ridership trends and the effects of reduced transit service on transportation access in Douglas County.
